Mayo Clinic in Arizona is spread across two main campuses in Scottsdale and Phoenix. The extensive Scottsdale campus includes the Mayo Clinic Building, Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, Collaborative Research Building, and Samuel C. Johnson Research Building. In northeast Phoenix is the Mayo Clinic Hospital and Mayo Clinic Specialty Building on the Phoenix campus, which has nearly doubled in size throughout Arizona.Bold.Forward, a historic capital expansion project. Nearby, is an expansive 120-acre development called Discovery Oasis, a biotechnology corridor of collaboration to advance groundbreaking solutions to humanity’s most complex medical challenges.
Our two campuses in Arizona offer more than 110 programs across various medical, surgical, and health sciences specialties, including fellowships, residencies, internships, clinical rotations, and certificates such as Bachelor, Associate, and Doctoral education. Currently, we train nearly 4,000 students per year.

Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine
Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine opened its Arizona campus in 2017. The building features a 1,600-square-foot gross anatomy lab, breakout rooms, a student lounge, study space, and administrative offices. It's also home to student support services, such as academic success counselors and mental health clinicians.
Mayo Clinic Building — Scottsdale
Campus activity in Scottsdale is centered around this modern five-story facility. It has 240 exam and procedure rooms, an outpatient surgery center, a full-service laboratory, a pharmacy, the Edmond Research Library, an endoscopy suite, and an auditorium for patient, staff, and student education programs.
Mayo Clinic Hospital
Located on the Phoenix campus, this highly advanced seven-story facility has 268 beds, 21 operating rooms, and an emergency department. The hospital opened in 1998 and is the first hospital entirely designed and built by Mayo Clinic. The hospital is also home to the Multidisciplinary Simulation Center, Franke Education Center, and Waugh Auditorium.
Mayo Clinic Cancer Center — Phoenix
Part of Mayo Clinic's national comprehensive cancer center, the Mayo Clinic Cancer Center in Phoenix is driving research breakthroughs that are changing approaches to cancer prevention, screening, and treatment, and improving the lives of cancer survivors.
